  1. My wife is a covid survivor – and no she was NEVER intubated. Lucky for me.

  2. The overuse by the inexperienced.
    My understanding… it’s not as simple to set up and regulate – as an air pump.
    I can just imagine over-expanding the lungs and… pop

    1. intubation. shudder. ive been intubated. about 5 years before covid. apparently i fought the intubation procedure like hell. thats what they tell me. i have no memory of it.

        It’s easier to use the thing on someone that’s so “out of sorts” they don’t know or care about what’s going on – because they won’t fight.
        I’m sure it’s not a “good” feeling having the tube crammed the throat either.

      2. im glad i dont remember it. i think they gave some kind of drug to make me forget the horror of that experience. i almost died, they tell me. twice.
