Police are a leading cause of death for black men — Undernews

Hmmm… “A” Leading Cause of Death? Or “The” Leading Cause of Death?

It is certainly the reason I avoid contact with them. Unfortunately that’s not always possible. I was held at gunpoint in my own backyard in 2013 for, according to the officer, “looking suspicious”.

LA Times – About 1 in 1,000 black men and boys in America can expect to die at the hands of police, according to a new analysis of deaths involving law enforcement officers. That makes them 2.5 times more likely than white men and boys to die during an encounter with cops.

The analysis also showed that Latino men and boys, black women and girls and Native American men, women and children are also killed by police at higher rates than their white peers. But the vulnerability of black males was particularly striking.

  1. I would say it is “THE leading cause of death for Black men.” And this is no accident. This is done by design. What is also striking is all of the surveillance that has been put in to place by the white establishment that is meant to keep tabs on us. It had nothing to do with foreign terrorists and terrorism by outside forces and everything to do with knowing at ALL times just what the hell we are doing.

Even if we were to attempt anything, the first thing we’d have to do is somehow dismantle the surveillance network. But my guess is, we’re done for at this late date. They’ve got everything in place now while we were sitting back being entertained by all the gadgets that were sent down the pike for that express purpose. And then when we finally looked up, the shit had been ‘engaged’.

    1. absolutely. thats why they want all us poor folks to have free cell phones we otherwise couldnt afford. they are tracking devices. and we are the ones they particularly want to track.

      1. Exactly! That is why technology was developed to ‘ping’ our phones and be able to locate us wherever we are. Some people are starting to ‘wise up’ to that and are buying ‘burner phones’. The key is to not link the phone to any phone that you use. We must push back against the spying as much as we can.
